8 Pilates studios (IRL and virtual) you can visit to calm your mind and boost your movement

At FS we know that movement is essential for both your physical and mental well-being. Whether you're an avid fitness enthusiast or just looking for a way to boost your mood, incorporating mindful movement into your daily routine can bring a range of benefits to your life.

Moving your body in a mindful way can help release built-up tension and reduce stress levels, leaving you feeling calmer and more relaxed. By focusing on your movements and alignment, you can work on improving your posture too, which can help reduce aches and pains and improve your overall health.

We’re loving low intensity movement like Pilates at FS, which allows you to work on increasing your flexibility, which can help reduce the risk of injury, calm the mind and body, which can improve your quality of sleep and help you fall asleep more easily.

Moving (in a way that feels good for you), has been proven to boost mood and improve mental health. By focusing on your movements and the sensations in your body, you can help lift your mood and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. To help you move a little more mindfully this month, we’re breaking down our top 8 pilates studios IRL and online, to get you started.

IRL:

FLOW LDN

FLOW is our go to studio if we want reformer style Pilates. It is located just off of Tottenham Court road and is a safe place for like-minded people to come together to escape the bustling city. No one takes themselves too seriously at FLOW and that’s why we love it there.

We genuinely believe this is one of the most stylish studios in London. Located in the heart of Marylebone, it offers a hybrid style workout of classical Pilates and high-intensity training. This is great if you prefer going to the gym but want to start introducing some pilates style movements into the mix! That’s why we love it here, we can get our quick blast of high-intensity as well as controlled pilates.
