Ingredients

  • 150g Greek yoghurt
  • 20g chocolate Free Soul protein powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Splash of milk

Method

  1. Preparation: Ensure all your ingredients are at hand. Using the right measurements will make a big difference in getting the consistency and flavour just right.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, sift the cocoa powder to avoid lumps. Add the chocolate Free Soul protein powder and mix until well combined.
  3. Wet Ingredients Mix: In a separate bowl, whisk together the Greek yoghurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup until smooth. If your peanut butter is a bit hard to stir, you might consider warming it slightly before adding it.
  4. Merge and Mix: Slowly fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Stir gently but ensure a uniform consistency.
  5. Adjust Consistency: If your mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired mousse texture. If you've added a bit too much milk and it becomes runny, you can balance it out with a little more Greek yoghurt.
  6. Chill and Serve: Once thoroughly mixed, transfer your mousse into serving dishes or glasses. Place them in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to set. The longer it chills, the richer the flavours become.
  7. Garnish and Enjoy: Before serving, you can garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder, a drizzle of maple syrup, or even some shaved chocolate for added flair. Tuck into your chilled out chocolate protein mousse and relish the delicious harmony of flavours and nutrition.
