HELLO THERE FREE SOUL CARROT & WALNUT CAKE 🤯 @amycousins1 you’re a genius for this one! We’ve also gone baking cray lately and this one absolutely takes the cake (sorry, Dad joke...) but seriously it’s delicious, doesn’t whack your macros out of place, and is made with Free Soul so it’s high in protein, vitamins, and minerals to keep you fuelled šŸ’ŖšŸ„•šŸ°Ā 

INGREDIENTS

For the Cake
šŸ„•60g Free Soul Vanilla Protein
šŸ„•150g Oats
šŸ„•1 tsp Baking Powder
šŸ„•1tsp Cinnamon
šŸ„•20g Sweetener
šŸ„•40g Raisins
šŸ„•40g Walnuts
šŸ„•100g Carrot
šŸ„•80g Apple sauce
šŸ„•30g Coconut Oil
šŸ„•60ml Oat Milk
šŸ„•1 Egg

For the Frosting
šŸ„•10g Free Soul Vanilla protein
šŸ„•150g Philadelphia
šŸ„•Vanilla Extract

METHOD

1. Preheat oven to 170.
2. Line tray w/ baking paper.
3. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl, set aside.
4. In separate bowl mix wet ingredients, add carrot, walnuts & raisins then add to dry ingredients.
5. Mix well.
6. Pour into prepared dish and bake for 12-15 mins.
7. Leave to cool completely before frosting.
8. Beat frosting together ingredients until smooth.
9. Frost cake & top w/ walnuts & cinnamon.
10. Slice into 8 squares.
11. Enjoy
