We all have a vision of what our fitness destination looks like; perhaps it’s to lose weight, have more energy, or it might even be to just feel better and more confident all year round rather than for just a couple of months in the summer! Whatever your goal may be, you’re more likely to get there if you’re enjoying the journey.
Whenever we want to do something, rather than feel we have to do something, it shifts our mentality towards the positive and increases the odds that we’re going to be consistent and see the journey through. This shift in mindset not only improves our performance in the gym, but it also extends to our life outside. Couple this with a positive viewpoint on nutrition, and you’ve got a recipe for sustainable results.
But what do I do to make sure I actually enjoy the workouts and healthy eating? Experimentation!
You have to find that workout or series of healthy recipes that you genuinely enjoy.
