This is my second order of Vegan Protein Blend from Free Soul. This time I purchased 2 flavours: Chocolate and Salted Caramel. They taste amazing. I re-confirm my previous comments: I noticed an improvement on my energy levels and attention focus from day one of taking this protein. I will be purchasing the protein bars also. I really love this product. It’s the best tasting protein I’ve had. I mix my chocolate protein powder with 400ml of oat milk and look forward to having it everyday.
The only issues I have is that it only comes in 1 size - IMO they should produce larger quantities to reduce plastic waste and unnecessary shipping.
Also, it doesn’t come with a scoop which is annoying as I have to weigh it out each time.

Best protein powder I've tried by a long, long way and I've tried many. Where most fall down is taste (too artificial tasting) and texture (too grainy, doesn't blend into the drink enough). I have developed a hack for the latter that makes any protein drink more palatable which is blending in more water(/milk) than recommended and throwing a few ice cubes in. This powder blends in just a couple of seconds in my Nutribullet into the perfect drink. Secondly it's significantly the nicest protein powder I've tasted. So much less artificial and sickly.

I have just started using this and drinking it for breakfast every day. A week later combined with exercise i have managed to drop 4 pounds!! Not only that but I feel like my concentration is better and my energy levels have gone up! It tastes good, the texture is fine I recommend adding 5 extra ounces of liquid to the shake to make it a bit smoother as it can be a bit grainy. 100/10

I’m currently halfway through my 3rd subscription of FS Vegan Protein/Greens and all I can say is it is a miracle! I’m currently under investigation for suspected endometriosis, and was struggling with chronic pelvic pain and severe bloating daily. Since having FS in my daily routine (either in a smoothie or iced latte - delicious!!) I’ve found that my pelvic pain and bloating has significantly reduced! I used to suffer daily, but now it is more associated with my monthly cycle as expected! This is an absolute game changer!! I honestly can't believe how good this protein mix is (vanilla) the fact it has loads of vitamins and minerals in it to support healthy well being is amazing. Was recommended by a friend as we are both Vegan. Tried a few other vegan protien powders before and since starting freesoul, but nothing matches it! All of the flavours are insane, especially the chocolate one. Literally bake with it, use it in shakes, mix it into a paste-like yogurt with my granola, amazing in overnight oats. Literally everything. Never been ill, bloated or sicky from it. Just overall amazing protien powder.
I do have to say the protien bars are not nice at all though, which is so sad considering they have nailed the flavours in the powders!!

I have made this shake a daily thing! I really look forward to my shake once I put my toddler down for his nap. This shake keeps me going!! I add some extra ingredients to make it into more a of meal.
I add oat milk, banana, almond butter, chia seeds,Flax, a few dates, spinach and ice! I then top it off with more nuts!This is serious energy. I feel like I has been so good for my body helping me heal and regain my energy from giving birth and helped me regain my body back after. And now I use it to keep my energy levels up since I also breast feed. Love the stuff!!

I've tried many protein powders and often find them to be sickly but this one is amazing! I ordered the chocolate flavour and it came with a free coconut water which I add a few splashes to and blend together with normal water and omg it's unreal. I gulp it down in about 10 seconds. I train hard and find this is the perfect thing to accompany my usual diet to add more protein and vitamins.

I’ve been trying to find a good vegan protein powder that tastes nice but they all have this awful sweetener flavour to them. I can’t remember where I heard of Free Soul but I LOVE their powders! I’ve only tried chocolate so far but I’m really enjoying them. Have opted for a vanilla in my next bundle so we’ll see how that tastes!

The only IBS-friendly protein powder
I rarely write reviews but just had to do it for the Free Soul Vegan Protein Powder! I tried a couple of other vegan protein powders/meal replacement powders but each time they make me feel super bloated and uncomfortable. Free Soul (vegan, vanilla) is the only one that works for me, and is IBS friendly with no soya, artificial sweeteners etc. The taste is not my favourite, but I add some banana, oat milk and frozen raspberries and it makes for a nice breakfast/post workout meal/midday snack. Sometimes I make 'pancakes' with it too, mixing one scoop with 2 eggs and frying on the pan - then top with peanut butter and fruits - yum!
Most importantly, it is the best protein powder for anyone suffering from IBS or with a 'sensitive stomach' - don't look elsewhere, it will save you lots of time and health.

By far and large, the best vegan protein blend
I absolutely love this brand and their products. I have probably tried every vegan protein powder on the market and had almost gone off protein shakes as the taste of most products on the market is terrible; a lot of other products use sweeteners which taste very artificial. The Free Soul blends are simply wonderful, with Vanilla and Chocolate being my favourite variants. They dissolve very easily, are perfectly balanced in terms of taste, you can use them with water and still taste great; I have one or two shakes most days and I look forward to the shake every time (with all other products, I go off them after barely one week....). After lockdown, these protein blends have been instrumental for getting back to fitness for me and after 6 weeks I am back to my pre-lockdown fitness level / weight / body composition; I don't think I could have achieved this without the incredible nutritional support the blends provided.
I was not planning to buy the Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies as I like vinegar in the liquid form, but I did try them and ended up buying the big bundle as the gummies are also amazing and taste great. They also contain B12, v important for vegans who train hard!
Their customer service is fantastic as well; I had a minor issue with one of my deliveries and they were on it right away, dealing with this super minor issue with an impressive level of care and kindness. Definitely a happy customer!

I pay more than I have previously for protein because I really like the added vitamin aspect for energy and also I do feel like this helps regulate my hormonal anxiety somewhat. I've tried all flavours of the vegan protein and I think they're all great and much better than others I've tried elsewhere.

The smoothest, creamiest vegan protein powder I have had. The chocolate isn't at all earthy and tastes more like chocolate cake than your normal really artificial or earth vegan protein blends I've had.

I have Crohn’s and this product is really useful during a flare. I found it very tasty and you can easily add other ingredients to flavour it. Love the long handled scoop you get with it. Makes it easy to measure. Definitely buying again as it gives me energy when I most need it and has a lovely texture even made with water. I recommend putting it in a bender for best results.

I'm very picky about my protein powders. I find that most ones on the market taste too artificial and too sweet. Free Soul has been my favourite since I tried it 6 months ago. I'm not a vegan, nor am I a fan of salted caramel but I got it out of curiosity. I must admit my tastebuds were blown away. I normally like my vanilla blend but salted caramel is my new favourite. Just received my first supply of this powder - I love it - really good that it doesn’t have all the nasty stuff in that you can find in some powders on the market! The only thing I have to say that is negative is that it’s just too sweet, it’s almost sickly and just tastes kinda gross unless you mix it with loads of liquid to dilute it and then you have too much to drink... please can you guys reduce the sweetness content down? Firstly, I love the packaging. Pink is my favourite colour so this is what brought me in (great marketing). I chose the vegan vanilla and I love everything about it. The texture and consistency isn’t lumpy, it’s not too thick, it works perfectly and goes down well. There are no funny flavours, you know sometimes you get that weird taste with protein, it’s a very neutral taste so none of those nasties. It’s just an overall great protein powder! Can’t wait to try the chocolate!

i've used other (whey) protein shakes in the past, but they made me feel bloated or i later realised they were full of nasty stuff. i needed something easy and extra as a snack mid-morning to complement a medication that needs protein to work but sometimes makes me lose my appetite. the free soul protein is PERFECT. it's exactly the right amount to keep me going, it doesn't make me feel bagged up, i know i'm not putting anything bad into my body, and i know i'm getting a bunch of good stuff at the same time. the spoon is v welcome for measuring (although i agree with the other review - don't need a new one each time!) and i'd love to see a kilo bag for subscription to pretty much give a calendar month's supply, rather than 4 weeks of weekdays.

Great taste without artificial after taste!
I'm very picky on my protein powders as I dont like too sweet nor too artificial flavours but at the same note I do want to have some taste on my protein powders. I can safely say this is one of the best protein powders so far I have tried! I use it for morning smoothies to give me needed protein for the day and I mix it with berries and water. On weekends I have made protein pancakes out of it and they turned delicious! Highly recommended product!

I have tried many vegan protein powders in the past and always found they have an earthy pea taste, which is not ideal.... but this one is just yummy! After the birth of my child, I needed to find a protein shake which was safest whilst breastfeeding and didn’t contain all the nasties and caffeine’s some do. I was introduced to Free Soul and honestly, I wouldn’t go elsewhere again! It’s delicious! I use the vegan, pea protein powered with oat milk as a recovery and also pop a scoop in my porridge oats! I’m fuller for longer and recover much quicker after exercise! It contains lots of vitamins too so win win! 100% recommend!

I love this powder - I haven't tried any other vegan protein powders but tbh I don't feel the need to. The chocolate and vanilla both taste great - I blend them up with plant milk and frozen berries (and sometimes a spoon of chocolate spread for a treat). They help me hit my daily protein and I think they're great. My ONE gripe is that every pack comes with a plastic measuring spoon. To help reduce single use plastic it would be great if the spoon could be made as a separate one off purchase rather than receiving one with every bag of powder - it's unnecessary! Other than that, fabulous product :)

Great for hair and nails
I chose Free Soul because I like to have a shake for breakfast as it's quick and easy but I didn't want something filled with sugar and chemicals, and didn't want it to cost the Earth. So, the main reason I bought them was because they are all natural and reasonably priced. However, I discovered an added bonus. All my life I have suffered from brittle, peeling nails and have tried every remedy and varnish to try and fix them, but nothing has worked. Anyway, a month or two after drinking Free Soul every day I noticed my nails have been growing and they are super strong with no peeling or breakages. I can only assume it's the magic recipe in the shakes So, I will carry on having my Free Soul shakes for breakfast!

Ordered this protein powder based on the berry flavour, added vitamins / herbal extracts targeted for women and the fact that it’s vegan (I’m intolerant to dairy). Very pleased with the fine powder flour-like consistency. Love the feminine packaging although if I use the provided scoop, powder falls off and gets wasted so I just use a spoon to get the powder out and I’ve disposed of the scoop. The berry flavour is tasty although it has a little too much artificial sweetener for my taste if I’m honest. I’d prefer a more naturally sweet flavour. Not so bad that I can’t eat it though.I add the powder to my porridge (after it has cooked) and it keeps me full until lunch. I also sometimes blend it with a banana, frozen berries and almond milk for an evening drink.Overall it is a great way to add more protein to the diet and I will be re-purchasing it.

Often vegan protein (especially the kind with Pea Protein in it) can taste a little bitter or leave a lingering taste in your mouth. Free Soul have nailed the flavour perfectly here, couldn't ask for a better product.

Could be improved by sustainable packaging
Combined sources of plant-based proteins as well as iron, calcium and magnesium. Easy to incorporate into a number of recipes (the brand has lots on their social media) as well as blending up into a standard shake.The vanilla flavour isn’t great, but it’s not terrible either.I’d like to see them make improvements to the sustainability of their packaging and using alternatives to plastic for the scoop that comes in each pack. Because of this, I probably won’t reorder and I’m going to continue my search for the perfect protein supplement with sustainability in mind.

Best tasting vanilla i’ve tried
I’ve previously bought this product from Superdrug, now doesn’t seem available online from there? So found it here. I love the taste, it’s nice even with just water but my preference is unsweetened almond milk. It has no nasty after taste, nice a creamy, leaves me feeling full for a while. It tastes slightly different to the Superdrug one, the scoop handle is shorter and a little bigger so 2 scoops per shake means it wont last long so price seems high for quantity of meal replacements. I’ll buy again but when on offer. Best tasting vanilla meal replacement I’ve tried and gentle on the stomach but I just wish there was more in the pouch for the price

Love the company, ethos, ingredients, flavour and texture!!! My only negative is the packaging... it looks beautiful but the opening at the top is really unnecessarily small. I find it really hard to put my hand in, especially when there’s less powder left in the bag. I keep making a mess because it’s not just an easy scoop. I know it’s specifically for women and we have smaller hands than men but it doesn’t mean we need an awkwardly small opening! The protein itself is wonderful though, I have the berry and I love that it doesn’t have that super super sweetness that most proteins do. Can’t wait to try the vanilla!
