Avocado Protein Brownies

Free Soul Avocado Protein Brownies by @the.blissfully.blog đ Yes we did say avocado! đ„ it makes them super moist (and healthy) plus the raw cacao from the Free Soul blend makes these brownies super chocolatey, so youâre not getting that âfake desertâ taste! Give these a go ladies!

INGREDIENTS
2 scoops Free Soul chocolate protein
2 avocados
75g of cacao powder
30g of wholemeal self-raising flour
15g of coconut flour (or an additional 20g of self-raising flour)
50g of sugar
1/3 of a cup of maple syrup
1 heaped tsp of baking powder
3 tbsp of smooth peanut butter (preferably one that is 100% peanuts)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 egg
2 tsp of maca powder
200ml of unsweetened almond milk
Optional: 100g of dark chocolate, cut into chunks
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 180°C (or 365°F).
Mash (or blend) the avocado until it is smooth
Add the remainder of the ingredients, except the dark chocolate, and stir until all combined
Fold in the dark chocolate chunks and pour the mixture into a lined 20cm x 20cm baking tin
Bake for 25 minutes and then leave it to cool in the tin, before cutting it into 16 pieces
Tip: To make it vegan swap out the egg for a flaxseed egg (1 tbsp of ground flaxseed mixed with 3 tbsp of warm water)
