As we edge closer to the end of the year, it’s a great time to reflect and set new intentions for the winter months. Whether you’re working towards a new fitness goal, committing to daily meditation practices, or improving your gut health, the key to maintaining new habits is consistency.

Follow our top tips to stay consistent:
Feel like you’re constantly falling off track and having to start over? Well you are not alone. Making new habits stick and keeping consistent can be challenging, especially when we all lead such busy lives.
Keep your goals realistic
Don't set yourself targets that will be impossible to achieve. Not only are you setting yourself up to fail, you’re most likely putting too much pressure on yourself and making your new goal or habit feel like a chore.
Small realistic goals are a great way to start. Once you start to achieve these smaller goals, you'll feel amazing and this will encourage you to continue to set more challenging goals.
Get a friend to join you in your journey
Having the support of a friend or family member, or maybe even a colleague, is so important! This is a great way to have someone to keep you accountable but also someone to chat to if you are struggling with staying consistent. Having a friend along for the journey can make it fun, set up a group chat or send each other daily reminder texts to hype yourselves up.
Put your goals down on paper
Whether you put pen to paper or write a note on your phone. Putting the goals down physically in writing is a great way to help visualise them and bring them to life. You could even create yourself a cute mood board and have it saved as your lock screen on your phone.
Establish a routine
Establishing these habits as part of your daily routine will help to build consistency and over time your habits will eventually become your lifestyle.
If you have a cup of coffee every morning, put your supplements next to the kettle to remind you to take them or, leave your FS-Greens on your desk at work so they are handy for you to grab and make yourself a greens juice on your lunch break.
It’s all about mindset
Remind yourself WHY! Why are you wanting to create these wellness habits? What are the benefits you will experience because of your consistency? If you keep these things in mind, whenever you are feeling like you are too busy to go for a run, or you’d rather buy a croissant from Pret rather than making yourself a gut-loving breakfast at home, it will help to remind you that consistency is key!
